On Saturday, January 18th, we braved the freezing cold to join the march in Newcastle, standing strong against violence towards women, demanding change, and advocating for women’s rights. The event served as a powerful opportunity to raise awareness about the devastating effects of misogyny and the patriarchy on women.
It was also a truly inspiring moment to unite with like-minded individuals, including some of the amazing women (and one man, along with two children) from our Uplift women’s groups. Together, we continue to fight for equality and inspire future generations of women to carry the torch for change.
