We thoroughly enjoyed attending the North East Charity awards on Thursday 19th September.
Ward Hadaway were delighted to receive a highly commended certificate in the ‘Corporate Charity Partnership’ category for the business enterprise challenge that they partnered with us to deliver in Kenton School.
Ward Hadaway has supported On the Up, formerly Upstart Enterprise organisation, with a £2,000 donation and involvement from its trainees. The project targeted students from disadvantaged backgrounds, offering them a chance to develop essential skills and gain an understanding of business and legal practices. Feedback has demonstrated the value of the project to the young people involved.
Well done to all the charities, social enterprises and volunteers who all go that extra mile to help to support individuals from all walks of life across the North East.
